FINAL STREET ANIMATION SHOW!!!

Colorful, fantastic and never forgetable. . . STREET ANIMATION SHOW!!! Before 4 weeks volunteers from Spain, Latvia, Turkey, Poland came together to learn how to juggle and do the poi-poi´s to show You amaizing street shows in Bucharests streets. You had a possibility to see them in Cismigiu park, Unirii, Unversitate and enjoy their self made shows. Right now, they are ready to show You what they have learned to surprise You!! FINAL street animation show with break-dancer participating You can see TOMORROW in "La Motoare" on 20.00. You have to be there and see it!!

The Living Library feed-back!!

Yesterday the Living Library opened!! The Library had on its shelves a lot of interesting books : homosexual, pensionar, biciclist, Italian, politist, musulman, dentul, functionar public, psihdog, volntar, artist contemporan, preot, tiganca, Czech social assistant and a dictionary. 50 readers had the curiousity to read the books. Don´t forget that this chance is available until saturday 18.30 - 20.00. Be one of the lucky persons and rent a living book that You are interested in : voluntar cu dizabilitai, voluntar la varsta, voluntar Spaniol din familie monoparentala, fosta anorexica/bulimica and also the books that You could rent yesterday! The festival is already in the air and waiting for You to participate. Today the Living Library OPENED!!! We are here from today 18.30-21.30 until Saturday 18.30-20.00. You can come and check out the most interesting part of our festival. DLT Was initiated in 2004 by the fusion of bboys from 3 cities in
Romania: Barlad, Tecuci, Craiova.

DLT members say about themselves, they are not just a crew of Bboys, but it also brings together four elements of HIP HOP.

Flash Mob Programme!

A.R.T. Fusion invites you to the “ia ARTitudine” Festival

FLASH MOBS to promote voluntarism
A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse

  • "Chalk talk"
PLACE: CISMIGIU PARK, Flower Clock
DATE: SATURDAY, 11.07.09
DURATION: 5 minutes
TIME: 17:00

What do you have to do? Just act normal and walk around the park as nothing is happening…At 17:00 sharp you will be hearing a signal. That is the moment when you go down and write on the ground with chalk "Volunteering is an art", draw something nice (smiley face, sun, etc) and after just go away.

We should meet at 16:45 at the Flower Clock in Cismigiu to decide on the starting signal and to distribute the chalks (it’s appreciated if you also have your personalized chalk).

  • "Slow motion Gara"
PLACE: GARA DE NORD train station
DATE: SUNDAY, 12.07.09
DURATION: 5 minutes
TIME: 17:00

What do you have to do? Just act normal and walk around the park as nothing is happening…At 17:00 sharp several people will shout "Stop and think!" . You start to walk and move in slow motion. At 17:05 everybody again become "normal" and just go away.
We should meet at 16:45 in front of Gara de Nord train station.

  • "Human line"
PLACE: Mcdonald’s, Unirea Shopping Center
DATE: MONDAy, 13.07.09
DURATION: 5 minutes
TIME: 17:00

A human line will start from McDonalds at Unirii, going through Lipscani street and end up at Universitate. At 17:00 o'clock one person will put up banner which will say slogan of the festival ("Volunteering is an art, become an artist") on one side, and information about the festival on the other, and rest of participants make a line one by one after the "leader" and follows him from Unirii till Universitate. The papers with writing "volunteer" will be distributed to every person in Human Line. After reaching Universitate everybody just go away.

  • "Laugh as much as you can!"
PLACE: GOBLIN PUB, SMARDAN Street
DATE: TUESDAY, 14.07.09
DURATION: 5 minutes
TIME: 17:00

We start from Goblin and up the street with summer terases. At 17:00 all the participants start to laugh and continue to do it for 5 minutes. Lets spread positive emotions! After 5 minutes everybody goes away.
